2 Man Bivvy |
 The tunnel tent's wind cheating stability,
free standing properties and effectiveness are the basis of the
sloping unique Huntech bivvys. Designed around an Easton E9
7075 aluminium alloy pole the bivvy has steep sides and one end
closed off, to stop the rain blowing in. The sprung pole makes
the bivvy largely free standing with only the open end needing tying
off. The sloping end is designed to be pitched into any wind
giving the fly good wind shedding properties. And lastly it
is quick and simple to erect requiring only four pegs.
Materials
These bivvys are manufactured
from totally waterproof rip stop nylon. This high quality,
high count 70 denier fabric, has a waterproof polyurethane coating,
tested to a minimum of 2000 millimetres of hydrostatic head.
Seams are feldlapped and then seam sealed with a tape using a
combination of hot air and pressure which makes the seams completely
waterproof. The hollow EASTON E9 7075 alloy pole breaks
down to a length of less than 400mm and is shock corded together
for ease of pitching. High tensile alloy pegs are supplied
with the bivvy.
