The Rossi Pomba single shot rifles are very well made. The metal work fit and finish is excellent and the synthetic stocks are a good quality with a good 1 inch rubber recoil pad. Sling swivels are also provided . The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope base and a good set of open sights are supplied from factory. The action breaks open via a lever which you push down which sits on the right hand side of the hammer. The rifle extracts the shell from the chamber making it easy to reload. The gun can be easily disassembled making it ideal for trampers and walkers and can easily be concealed inside a day pack or hunting pack.  Being finished in stainless steel and synthetic means that it is virtually impervious to most weather conditions and can be easily cleaned and maintained without the fear of the gun rusting.
